"We don't want our bodies commented on." -Lanni Marchant

Yesterday was an incredibly proud moment for our family, but also a huge moment for all Women in Canada involved in Athletics. My sister @lannimarchant was invited to speak at the House of Commons and address some of the issues that Women face when trying to pursue Athletics in Canada. Here is a short clip of Lanni answering one of the questions the committee presented her with. Lanni you have always made us proud, but this moment truly shows that your efforts in demanding equal rights for Women has not gone unnoticed. To be selected to represent and speak on behalf of Canadian women in sport is such an honor. You never seize to amaze me! #proudsister #lannimarchant #smallbutmighty #fabandfierce #recordholder #womensrights #equality #houseofcommons #ottawa #golannigo #strongwomen #liftoneanother #videooftheday
