When editors at Runner’s World heard about the inaugural Mine Run 5K in Hutchinson, Kansas , that took place 650 feet below the earth’s surface, we all immediately wished we could have run it. (Well, most of us did.) While we eagerly wait for registration to open for 2017, here’s how we imagine the race going down.
