Nepal Runners Sweep Everest Marathon

There was also a half marathon and a 60K contested. Australian Karl David Turkovi claimed victory in the half marathon (3:19:05) ahead of Belgian Geremy Kersten (3:42:46) and German Amanda Ryan (4:52:45). Armyman Samir Tamang successfully defended his 60K title, crossing the finish line in 7:17:55; Hom Lal Shrestha (7:38:15) and DB Kulung Rai (8:26:20) took second and third to complete the podium sweep for Nepal.
