I admit that May started off rough. But a bad day {all right a bad week} doesn’t mean it has to be a bad month. Life is so much more than just pushing through the rough patches…yup that’s a lesson I learned from running. So here’s the run down of training lately. Low : The fatigue that I remember from when I was super sick a few years ago hit hard. While that was frustrating, it also mentally and emotionally takes me back to a rough space and ignites all kinds of fears, so it took me a beat to get back on track. Then I remembered that I could take a step back..relax, refuel and restart. High : BUT through it all I remained committed to my #SpringTraining goal of getting in a minimum of 2 weekly strength workout sessions. I shared with you the Mountain Athletics App which helped give me some ideas for pushing my limits, plus of course my new love affair with the TRX . High ...
