Today's Motivational Poster is for all the ice-bath skeptics out there:

I have my own version of the "ice" bath that I use after long runs and/or in the summer when I get a bit over heated. Fill the tub about 6 " with coldest tap water available. Gather reading material (Runners World works well Secure one cold adult beverage. Without removing shorts (and sports bra, if applicable), lower body into tub. Water should cover hips. Read, enjoy beverage. When beverage is done, get out of tub (unless someone is around to bring a refill or you were smart enough to think ahead and bring reinforcements). I dream about this in that last mile of the 20 mile July training run.
