Full report from today's cross country action at #McCainLiverpool Cross Challenge & #euroXCtrials

Morpethâs Jonathan Taylor (Gordon Surtees) raced to one of the biggest wins of his career with victory in todayâs McCain UK Cross Challenge incorporating the European Cross Country Trials in Sefton Park, Liverpool (Saturday 24 November), while the senior womenâs title went to impressive under-23 Jess Coulson (Mick Woods). In heavy underfoot conditions, the under-23 menâs title went to Jonny Hay (Mick Woods) with the junior winsÂ going to Mick Woods-coached duo Ian Bailey and Emelia Gorecka, all threeÂ of Aldershot, Farnham and District. The event reports are below and provisional results will follow soon. The Aviva Great Britain and Northern Ireland team selection for the SPAR European Cross Country Championships in Budapest, Hungary on Sunday 9 December will take place on Monday 26 November, with the team announced on Tuesday 27 November.
