WATCH: @RUN_215 took the beer mile to the next level by completing it in a blizzard

While millions on the East Coast hunkered inside to avoid the massive snowfall last weekend, members of the Philadelphia running group Run215 braved the elements to combine two of their favorite pastimes—running and beer. At 1 p.m. on Saturday, in the midst of heavy snowfall, more than 20 members participated in a beer mile at a park in the middle of Philadelphia. Each drank four brews between running four quarter-mile laps on the slick, snowy paths. At the time, more than 15 inches of snow had accumulated on the ground.
