The 1st Mile: Runners Offer Advice on How to Make Your '14 Excellent

For runners, the New Year is an opportunity to look forward to the coming months and to think about how new speeds can be reached, personal records that can be broken, or making improvements in overall fitness and health. To help you Make Excellent Happen in 2014, New Balance spoke with runners and running coaches from around the country for advice on improving running performance over the coming year. SET GOALS The year ahead is full of running events and opportunities to boost performance. Coaches and runners suggest picking target races to train for throughout the year or selecting specific fitness goals to reach.
