Andreas Raelert and Erika Csomor earned the fast victories today at #IMAustria:

Raelert, who needed the Ironman finish to earn his spot at October’s Ironman World Championship, came out of the water in 44:25 behind Bart Colpaert (BEL), Igor Amorelli (BRA), Gerg Molnar (HUN) and Philip Graves (GBR). Colpaert maintained the early lead on the bike, with Raelert moving up through the pack. Despite the efforts from Raelert, he was losing time to the fast-riding Belgian over the first half of the 112-mile bike ride. Things changed over the last half of the ride as Graves, Germany’s Maik Twelsiek and David Plese (SLO) passed Raelert in the chase of Colpaert. As the riders approached a final climb Colpaert suddenly disappeared from the leaderboard, making Graves the new leader. Graves came into T2 with 1:26 over Twelsiek, 3:35 over Plese and 3:46 over Raelert. Raelert’s strength on the run proved to be too much for the other competitors. His 2:40:07 marathon ...
