SHOES: Running shoe companies showed off their newest designs at the Boston Marathon expo

Mizuno Wave Sayonara The Mizuno Wave Sayonara ($120) is a new shoe that will be replacing the Wave Precision 13. A new midsole compound is said to be 30 percent lighter but offer the same cushioning and durability. The shoe will work for neutral runners and mild overpronators; a filled-in arch and slightly wider forefoot gives some light stability. A men's size 9 is expected to weight 8.1 ounces.
