So excited for Adam and Tim! Lucky school kids, get reading!

Metea Valley High School, in Aurora, Illinois, has selected Running the Edge for its all-school reading program. The book, written by Olympian Adam Goucher and Tim Catalano, is a how-to running book that also has advice on overcoming adversity. Goucher and Catalano will kick off the program on April 4 with a discussion of the book, and then make presentations in the school's English classes the next day. The school will put on a 5-K on June 1 in connection with the reading program. About 2,500 students in grades 9-12 attend Metea Valley. Running the Edge will be the school’s fourth school-wide reading initiative. First, staff read the book, and then hand off their copies to students who want to take part.
