in that he’s still doing my bike fits and so forth. Last year he wrote my bike program before Kona, and it was a fantastic help, but at the end of the year, I felt like I needed a more full-time coach. He will continue to work with me on bike fit and positioning. I’ve actually started working with Joel Filliol. He’s Canadian and coaches a bunch of ITU athletes, including two of my good friends Lauren Groves and Sarah Groff. He seems to really fit in with a lot of the things I believe in in triathlon and his personality seems right. Sometimes it’s more than the program—you have to really be able to connect with the person and have a good coach-athlete relationship. It will be mostly an online program; he’s someone I can bounce ideas off of and work with to continue moving forward in the sport.
