BIG NEWS! @Mo_Farah to run 3,000m at the British Athletics Grand Prix, @thenia 16th Feb - his only indoor race in 2013!

Double Olympic champion Mo Farah (coach: Alberto Salazar) has confirmed that he will compete over 3,000m at the British Athletics Grand Prix at Birminghamâs NIA on Saturday 16 th February â his only indoor race in 2013. Farah, who won a historic distance-double over 5,000m and 10,000m at the London Olympics last summer, is a regular visitor to Birmingham having set a British record of 8:08.07 as he finished second over 2 miles in Birmingham last year. The 29 year old finished fourth in the 3,000m at the World Indoor Championships in Istanbul last March and then went on to retain his European 5,000m title before adding two Olympic gold medals to the gold and silver medals he won over 5,000m and 10,000m at the Daegu World Championships in 2011.
