Before the burpees, were the Hang Power Snatches. Something new I learned: “power” lifts are where you do not catch the bar in a full squat position. That means “power” moves are usually harder and require lower weight. A Hang Power Snatch is where you start your lift from the knee height, then catch the bar high and not in a full squat. For someone who usually struggles getting into a deep squat for any lifting move, I was now struggling not going into a full squat, go figure.
