BIRMINGHAM (GBR): Following a site visit, the IAAF has confirmed they are pleased with the city's preparations ahead of the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham in 2018, informs organisers. "The IAAF delegation came with high expectations and we were not disappointed. We were particularly impressed with the refurbishments to the indoor arena," said IAAF Competition and Events Director Paul Hardy. Birmingham hosted the 2003 edition of the World Indoor Championships and the 2007 European Indoor Championships.
