The unknown unknowns. #barefootery
The unknown “unknowns” scare me and keep me very humble and non-judgmental. It would be nice if some of the shod runners would stop and be humbled by the realization that they have unknowns too. I used to be very scared of the unknown “unknowns.” The truth can come around the corner and take one by surprise, sometimes rather unpleasantly as one thinks of how one has strutted around and spoken authoritatively. Knowing that these truths are out there somewhere and experiencing the shattered sense of the illusion of being-in-control-of-when-you-can-know-something is spooky. But then I decided to just go along and “know” this and accept it and just take the new revelations as they come and hope I don’t say really stupid things in the meantime.
