By Scott Douglas Photo by Victah Sailer With the Boston Athletic Association re-opening registration for the 2013 Boston Marathon on Monday , runners in early-fall marathons have a chance to race twice in a day--first, over 26.2 miles; second, to the marathon's registration page, to try to get one of the approximately 2,500 qualifier spots that weren't claimed in the first two weeks of registration. The BAA says it won't speculate on when the last qualifier spot for the April 15, 2013, race will be claimed, but at least one number-crunching marathon enthusiast has. Given the number of Boston qualifiers run the last few years at American and Canadian marathons of late September and early October, blogger Celia Kujala predicts that the 2013 Boston qualifier field will be filled by the first weekend of October.
