Why I'm No Longer Running High Mileage via @mommyrunfaster

I just wrote a post about how I know I’m not where I need to be for my upcoming marathon and I’ve been running 40-45 miles a week. That is definitely high for me but not what it needs to be for a 3:15 marathon FOR ME. Everyone is different and I know what I need, as do you, which is a great place to be. But no, I don’t look at others mileage and say “I wish I did that” because the reason I’m where i am with my marathon training (qualifying for triathlon nationals) was more then worth “giving up” on a big marathon PR goal.
