As a group, in my experience, runners are pretty quiet folks. Decent. Law-abiding. Not wanting any trouble. Still, even the quietest of groups has its brushes (run-ins?) with the law. Here are just a few recent, real-life examples. ----------------------------- Incident Date: July 2, 2012 Location: Trans-Canada Highway, Quebec, Canada Summary: Officers responded to a man running on a busy highway and asked the man to please stop running on the busy highway. The subject refused their repeated entreaties and was arrested. Subject faces charge of obstructing justice. Why This is in RW Daily: The arrested man, a Canadian named Curtis Hargrove, is running across Canada to raise $1 million for a children's hospital foundation.
