formerly Lisa Koll, was the fastest American female in the 10,000 in 2010 with a collegiate record 31:18.07. Uhl won the 5000 and 10,000 for Iowa State at the 2010 NCAA Championships, followed that up with a second place behind Amy Begley in the 10,000 at the USATF Championships, and continued with a 14:55.74 for 5000 meters in Paris and a victory at the Bix 7 in Iowa. But her 2011 racing campaign, after cross country season, was pretty much over, due to a torn plantar fascia and a metatarsal stress fracture. Uhl now trains with Shalane Flanagan and Kara Goucher in Oregon and is coached by Jerry Schumacher. In 2012, after a stint of altitude training at Mammoth Lakes, Uhl ran a 5000 at the Stanford Invitational in 15:21.56, a 10,000 at the Payton Jordan Invitational in 31:35.50, a 5000 at Occidental College in 15:15.22, and a 3000 at the Prefontaine Classic in 8:52.95.
