Our First Beginner—or Get-Back-to-It—5K Challenge! #womensrunning

A FEW Q + A’s When does it start? Next Monday, March 2! So you’ve got about a week to sign up. I haven’t run a step since junior year gym class. Is this program for me? You betcha! The only physical prereq is walking for about a half-hour a few times a week for a month or more, you will feel comfortable on this well-designed plan. The 5K plan is ideal if you are beginning runner; coming back from pregnancy or sidelining injury; or have just fallen off the running-wagon. All the workouts are walk/run until the final week of the plan; they gradually building up the time you spend running and decreasing how long you’ll walk. Are you sure I won’t feel overwhelmed?
