Most people assume they will gain a few pounds with any vacation…so they do!!! It's like writing a blank check to take with you on a shopping trip. I find that a much easier solution is to either maintain your weight or yes…let it be said I often lose weight on vacation. It’s completely possible, while still enjoying food! Take our recent weekend trip to Universal Studios. I had a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie the size of my face which I estimated as 800 calories towards my 2100 cals for the day {benefit of marathon training}…plus a baby cinnamon roll at 300 calories!! 1100 calories in just two foods is pretty aytpical for me...clearly I was going to gain weight, right?!
