For runners focused more on performance and less on food fads, we’d like to introduce you to one super grain that will take you farther than you could ever imagine. Quinoa (pronounced KEEN-WAH) is a grain nimble enough to squeeze into the unlikeliest of places (from Banana Nut Quinoa Muffins to Quinoa Stuffed Tomatoes). Considered to be a complete protein, it’s full of incredible nutrients  (essential amino acids, potassium, and a high ratio of protein to carbohydrates). Best of all, it will make your belly feel just about as happy as it would after breaking through finish line tape!
