For me, one of the greatest attractions of ultra running is the sense of adventure and the excitement of the journey. These things tend to come hand-in-hand with the longer distances, and what better way to share the experience with others than writing about it? Putting together a written account of a race or training challenge has been an increasingly enjoyable part of my journey through the world of ultra running, and hopefully some of the content contained in this blog reflects that and provides some inspiration for those outside the sport to give it a go.
