Try this on your next run + a survey + does this happen to you?

A lot of you are already silent runners and you are amazing… lately, I’ve been doing 10-20 minutes of my run in silence. I don’t start out without my music/headphones (goodness, I need the motivation of something to get me started) but somewhere along the way I just turn off any noise for a little while and it feels SO nice. I focus on the little things around me that I see… the frost on the grass, the clouds, the outlines of the mountains, the parents trying to get their kiddos off to school on time, the sound I make with each step, seeing my breath in front of me (yep, it’s that cold here in the mornings), I say a little prayer and think about the fam. Some days I feel like I hear noise/things all day long and I’m really loving taking time during my run to not have any noise (even though I love my music).
